Position Overview

SHEƎP Collections is seeking a creative, motivated, and fashion-forward intern to support the development and growth of our clothing brand. The Fashion Intern will gain hands-on experience in fashion design, product development, styling, merchandising, branding, and day-to-day fashion business operations.

This position is ideal for a student or emerging fashion professional who is eager to build industry experience, strengthen their portfolio, and contribute fresh ideas to a growing clothing company. The intern will work closely with the SHEƎP Collections team to assist with upcoming collections, photoshoots, product launches, marketing campaigns, and brand initiatives.

What We Want You To Do:

  • Assist with fashion trend, color, fabric, and competitor research.

  • Help develop mood boards, collection concepts, and style inspiration.

  • Support the design and product-development process from concept to completion.

  • Assist with organizing clothing samples, inventory, fabrics, and design materials.

  • Help prepare garments and accessories for photoshoots, fashion events, and promotional campaigns.

  • Support model styling, outfit coordination, and wardrobe preparation.

  • Assist with product descriptions, collection names, and website merchandise updates.

  • Contribute creative ideas for social media content, campaigns, and product launches.

  • Help maintain visual consistency across the SHEƎP Collections brand.

  • Participate in team meetings, brainstorming sessions, and special projects.

  • Provide general administrative and production support as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree or certificate in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

  • Strong interest in fashion, clothing, styling, and brand development.

  • Creative mindset with an awareness of current fashion and cultural trends.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.

  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating with a creative team.

  • Detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn.

  • Basic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, fashion illustration, sewing, photography, or social media is a plus.

  • A portfolio, mood board, or examples of creative work are encouraged but not required.

  • Bilingual in Spanish, Portuguese, French, or Haitian Creole is a plus but not required

SHEƎP Collections Internship Program

The Fashion Intern position is part of the SHEƎP Collections Internship Program, designed to provide students and emerging professionals with hands-on experience in the fashion and apparel industry.

  • Program Length: 12 weeks / one semester

  • Internship Stipend: $2,500 for successful completion of the 12-week program

  • Hands-on experience with real Sheep Collections projects and initiatives

  • Professional mentorship and portfolio-building opportunities

  • Opportunity to gain practical experience that may complement academic internship requirements

Learning & Professional Development

Throughout the SHEƎP Collections Internship Program, interns will receive hands-on learning opportunities designed to strengthen both creative and professional skills. Areas of development may include fashion trend research, product development, styling, merchandising, brand strategy, marketing, project management, professional communication, and portfolio development.

Interns will also receive feedback throughout the program and gain exposure to the day-to-day operations of a growing clothing brand.

The ideal Fashion Intern is creative, enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about fashion. They are comfortable sharing ideas, receiving constructive feedback, managing multiple assignments, and contributing to a collaborative brand environment. They should have a strong desire to learn and help SHEƎP Collections create meaningful, stylish, and marketable fashion products.
